Safari Planters By Cobonpue

Cobonpue did it again. The renowned Filipino designer whose works are the favorites of famous celebrities such as Angelina Jolie of Hollywood is once again at the center stage of design with his recent works for Hive. Hive is also a company run and supervised by Cobonpue along with other designers.

His recent work is the Safari Planters which reminds us just how important plants are. Just in time for the terrible air quality we have these days.

Marcial Ahsayane's The Green Mailbox

Yes to green! [even to as mundane as a mailbox. Marcial Ahsayane of Belgium made this really cute and eco-friendly Green Mailbox. The mailbox is designed to capture rainwater and draw it directly to the plant pot on its left (see images below).

This one rotates on top and functions more like a giant bearing but would be interesting to have as your coffee table. I can only assume of its price since its made from gypsum (alabaster). I bet its expensive. ;)

The Glacier

I's one of those monolith you'd love to take home. This 300kg structure is made by Brodie Neill and was exhibited in London on October 13 to 17. I'd rather see this in big museums or in reception of offices that want to put a dent in their little universe.

So the thing is made from pure glass as you can see in the picture. I lifted it from Contemporist just in case you're wondering where I took it.

I think its a great piece and want something like it in our living room. ;)

Benjamin Hubert's Quarry Lamps

I never thought that marble makes for a good lamp. Here's Benjamin Hubert's latest creation - the Quarry Lamps. These are the lamps you don't want to miss because they look exactly what you need for your living room. What I like about these lamps are the veinings you see when the light is on. These veinings can be seem even when the LED bulb is switched off but they are more conspicuous when they are.

Flab Table

A table that speaks with elegance and is the recently made furniture by Kenyon Yeh - the Flab Table. I don't know but something tells me that this table is a great alternative to office table either in office or in your own home. The black and yellow contrast is truly a great combination for it attracts attention no matter your distance to the furniture. How I love this table a lot!

I think I like this table in my living room where my visitors could see it while having their welcome coffee. I do not know to you but I think it looks chic and elegant looking. The American designer Brian Kuchler created this Cantilevered Table. I think I've seen something like this before but this one has a different perspective of balance as well as a different perspective on symmetry.

Education doesn't stop after college or when you finally get your degree and everyone should know that developments in one field should happens every minute and if you don't get to get your feet to know them then you're running the risk of not knowing what's hot and what's not in your field especially in medical management courses.

If you're into training, you'd probably want to have this medical teaching course where you'd get the chance to continue your education while sharing what you know to the people who also work in your industry. There is no better way to learn your craft well than to teach it yourself.

There are teach the teacher courses that are available online so it cancels out the need to travel. In this age of modern technology and "hectic schedules" all you want in your free time is to stay at home and spend it with your loved ones. Car Repair Shops on the Web

I love driving when my car is behaving well but feels otherwise if my car is acting up! I almost gave up a few months ago when my car got stuck in the middle of the traffic. Yes, I don't know anything about mechanical stuff and can't get my hands on the vehicle to put it back up. Good thing there was this car repair center nearby and got their hands in it.

I have an android device which helps me figure out the place I'm in and locate car repair shops nearby. It's a pretty cool feature in Android device and I thin the iOS ones have it, too although I don't know if how they work but I think it should give you the very same functionality as Android devices do.

You shouldn't spend a lot in having your car fixed but I would advice you to check car repair online and get some quote to give you an idea how much you might be needing to shell out if in case your car would act up.

University Studies

I've been thinking of going back to school next year and take up Masteral studies. I have with me two options to take: either taking online courses, going to traditional university courses locally or abroad.

The traditional way to learn is nothing new to me considering that I've done that back in 2005. It was exciting especially if you have laptops or gadgets to use whenever you're out of the house giving you the flexibility needed to work and study wherever you are. I have a portable modem so its never a problem to connect where I want to be.

I'm seriously considering online degree programs in web designs since that's what the bulk of my work is all about anyway. If this is something I'll enroll in I'd definitely be able to use it as I continue my work online.

Chinese Kropek

Fellow Pinoys would definitely recognize a kropek, a bland but great partner in spiced vinegar. But the one below is a different kind since its blended with sugary stuff on top and is definitely not "vinegar-friendly" lol. I mean you definitely won't be dipping this in a vinegar because its yucky. The sugar won't go well with vinegar in this case.

We just had a really fun moment at the Angeles City Museum because we saw just some of the cutest and fashionable dolls ever! Not sure if you guys like dolls but I think these couture fashion dolls are the finest I've ever seen so far in person and in the Internet.

The creator of these dolls are Noel Calma and Cholo Ayuya. Never had the chance to speak to these guys a lot but I know they're full of talents and they have the potential to make it big in world of fashion. I hope you guys could take a look at these dolls and let me know what you think. I hope the haute couture of these dolls will soon be translated into real-life clothing because they're too classy.

In terms of the palate, the Philippines has it all - Asian, American, Indian, and European. Visit a restaurant and you'll be delighted to see that much of those listed in the menu are pretty much appealing to foreign cuisine. Banaue, Ifugao - Missing this Place

This year was not so good year for me inasmuch as vacationing is concerned. The bad weather totally hampered me from going places and this is one reason why I do not have any picture to share with you all on this blog for places I went to. But hey I think I'm gonna be visiting a nearby place soon so don't forget to drop by here once in a while and see if there are updates on
my travel escapades. ;)

If everything goes well, I'm getting a new Panasonic Lumix camera which I will use for taking photos on places I visit. The DSLR cam I bought last year didn't serve me well, for one I realized that I'm not really that "photographer type" who would dare carry big cameras while travelling. The small ones will be OK.
