In the past, I blogged about our capiz handicraft project Jaypee and I are making for the past few months. We got interested in it when we made wedding favors for a friend using used capiz shells. We didn't know we can create something a beautiful piece of art from cheap materials.
We've initially come up with two designs which are ready for plating. You see, these aren't finished yet and they are yet to be gold plated, cleaned and put some velvet on to protect your jewelries and mirror (for the small one) inside. The small one, we call it The Garden Rose. It measures 7cmX7cm. The other one measures 6"x4"x4" and called Hibiscus jewelry box. They cost around USD$4.00 and $4.50-4.75 respectively. We produced 30 pieces for each so far but will produce more if we receive bulk orders (local and international). If you're interested, e-mail us. We'll definitely let you know as soon as we have finished the production process.
While finishing this, we finished creating another jewelry box, bigger than the other two, and two chandelier designs. They'll be up at the end of February or early March. :) We'll keep you posted! :) Thanks! Here are some of the pictures of the Capiz jewelry boxes we created for you. All items are sold at Soloden Store.
