I Resigned

After almost seven (7) years of working for my current company, I decided to bid goodbye and tell them that my last working day will be on January 8, 2010.

I never thought that it was hard to really compose a resignation letter given that I've been on the technical writing industry for quite a while! Can you believe that? It probably has something to do with delivering a message to people you've learned to love and hate through the years; the people you've worked with for the past seven years of my life. There might be a bit of regret on my part considering that I'll be leaving my friends at work, but I think that I am on my way to following another path I always wanted to take for the rest of my life - Travel.

Right now, I am preparing for my language class next year and have been browsing through some of my notes here for the past years. Whew! So much to learn, so little time.

I have a mixed emotions towards my decision of leaving my work. Although I have enough savings to finance my studies and sustain my family's needs throughout the course of my studies, I still have that 'little' fear that my money might run short during that time. Hah!

For the past years, I've learned just how critical decision-making is and how its results impacts my future decisions and the lives of the people around me. But we just can't stop learning. We can only continue to learn and appreciate what life offers you day by day. Leaving you another good reflection point for the day.
