The beautiful Brazilian Larissa Ramos was crowned as Miss Earth 2009. She emerged as the best of the best among the 78 candidates which joined the Miss Earth 2009 International pageant.
Last year's winner was The Philippines’ Karla Paula Henry. Miss Earth 2009 winner Larissa Ramos receives the newly designed Miss Earth crown valued at $100,000. She also received $20,000 cash as part of winning the Miss Earth 2009 title.
The Philippines bet, Sandra Inez Seifert, a 25 years old nurse almost got it emerging as 2nd placer, Miss Earth Air, followed by Miss Venezuela Jessica Barboza as Miss Earth Water, and Miss Spain Alejandra Echevarria as Miss Earth Water. Congratulations Miss Brazil!
