The Effects of Global Warming

The recent catastrophes battled by countries near the ocean like the Philippines can be directly blamed to the effects of global warming. While scientists have not formed any conclusive evidence if global warming does have a direct effect on the formation of powerful storms and typhoons, we can't deny the fact that our continuous use of carbon-based, toxic, and non-biodegradable products has began to become a living threat to our planet and the health of our children.

This post is intended to Blog Action Day's cause to support the formation of an online community driving to prevent the effects of global warming. This is a rather late post when I should have blogged about it last October 15. Nevertheless, its still in keeping with supporting Blog Action Day's dedication to helping the planet recover from the pollution brought by man.

Let us all join hands in standing up and encouraging developed and developing countries to reduce their carbon dioxide emissions. Let us stand up for the future of our children, for the earth!
