I saw this on TV. There was a fake version of Vaxigrip, an anti-flu vaccine that is used to fight seasonal flu and not A(H1N1) virus. This was confirmed by Department of Health after a successful confiscation of counterfeit Vaxigrip vaccines of Sanofi Pasteur. It was found out that the fake Vaxigrip vaccine was sold way cheaper than the regular Vaxigrip vaccine.The consumers are ill-equipped with determining if a certain drug or vaccine is fake or genuine since consumers don't get to buy these products on a daily basis. It saddens me that the world is really dirty that people make money at the expense of others. I believe that they should put tougher punishments for people who sell or manufacture fake drugs. Its sick, unreasonable, and unacceptable.

That is horrible of people to take advantage of others that way! I certainly hope they they are caught and put into prison!
first there's fake purses, then fake mac make up... then fake vacinne?! Omg that's so awful, so people thinks they're safe but they got the fake vacinne?! That should be illegal and they should go to jail for that :(
Hi. Influenza viruses have several subtypes or strains depending on the mutations of the genetic material it carries. We also have some AH1N1 strains as seasonal types but the recent AH1N1 is a new subtype harboring a different mutation that our immune system are yet to be recognized. Hence, since this is a novel strain not yet previously encountered, no vaccine is yet available and/or is now being developed.

That's why.. it is best that ask your doctor about it.. rather than buying it yourself. the price may be 1 hundred or 2 hundred more but you can be sure that it's not fake plus the doctor can check if you need the vaccine or not.. specially for preggy women. not all vaccine can be administer when you are pregnant... it will have a great affect on the child.
