A Visit to The Carmelite Monastery

Back when mom was sick, I began visiting Carmelite Monastery monastery where I found solitude and inner peace and a chance to pray for my mom's quick recovery. I was never religious and hardly pray at times but having been into a very difficult situation where mom was fighting for her life made me realize how important spirituality is and how we can't live without it no matter how unfathomable it becomes.

I visited the place yesterday and offered three white roses to Carmelite Monastery as a sign of devotion. I vowed to do this after mom recovered from her illness. The unexplainable miracle which happened to mom encouraged me to continue this kind of religous fervor. No matter what people say, we need religion to survive. We need to have some sort of religious association in order to keep our feet on the ground and help us realize that everything in this world is temporary and that someone out there knows our fate and is there to help us achieve our destined greatness...
